Neighbors in Dialogue brings together texts on the art scenes of the South Caucasus, the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean countries, written in English for this book by art critics, art historians and curators from these countries. The book also includes a small exhibition of reproductions of artworks selected by the participants.
The book has been invited to the Venice Agendas meetings organized as a parallel event to the 51st Venice Biennale. Held during the opening of the Biennale, the event is organized by Wimbledon School of Art and Nuova Icona as a series of three-day conferences. Neighbors in Dialogue, the title of the event, was introduced and discussed by the participating authors and editors of the book at the Venice Agendas opening meeting.
