2022 was a year in which the pressure on LGBTI+ persons, human rights defenders and activists increased and organized hatred made itself felt more and more both in public spaces and in our private lives. Despite all this, we continued to produce words and strengthen our political struggle with the imagination of a free and livable world for everyone.

For this reason, we opened the first Kaos GL issue of 2023 for discussion with the file subject "Tahayyül", which means "imagining, dreaming". As we entered the new year, we responded to the cis-heteronormative system with our hopes and imaginations. As we write the editorial of the first issue of the coming year, we wish to meet in a reality where all these imaginations take place in our lives.
