The narrator of The Book of Wanderer's Wonders - ostensibly as a memoirist - relates his adventures with the people who tie his life in knots, and - deep down - questions the truth of the intimacies that he witnesses as fictional even while he is still alive. One disappointing adventure follows another, but what kind of integrity can a novel have if almost every attempt of a heart hunter is incomplete? How real can a life be after it is derailed by desires and clouded by dreams?
