From pure body to disembodiment to the sea.

In an undated time, Clara's story moves from the Argentine countryside to Buenos Aires and from there to the pampas. From the slums where tango ferments, from the wide avenues, parks and miserable hotels of the capital, back to the countryside, to the circus. She has lovers, pimps, husbands. But there is only one thing she wants very much: the sea. To go to the sea. On her travels with the magician Alejandro, she becomes the Aztec Flower in the circus: a disembodied head in a box of mirrors, an embryo that must always smile.
