Masist Gül (1947-2003), the creator of these books, was a Turkish Armenian actor with a strong physique who appeared in over 300 movies. He was also an extraordinary artist in a way that is not widely known. He designed a series of 6 books in the form of a ’monthly magazine“ called ”Kaldırım Epic - The Life of the Wolf of the Sidewalks‘. In these handmade books, which have never been printed before, Gül illustrated the violent and harsh life story of a bully named Kaldırım Fahri in comic book style.
